“Love is not selective, just as the light of the sun is not selective. It does not make one person special. It is not exclusive. Exclusivity is not the love of God but the “love” of ego. However, the intensity with which true love is felt can vary. There may be one person who reflects your love back to you more clearly and more intensely than others, and if that person feels the same toward you, it can be said that you are in a love relationship with him or her. The bond that connects you with that person is the same bond that connects you with the person sitting next to you on a bus, or with a bird, a tree, a flower. Only the degree of intensity with which it is felt differs.”
Bursting with love I can’t contain. A bubbling feeling it truly is. Grateful for every moment granted. Surrounded by love on every side. It’s like bubbles in the air with not much of a direction to take. Love is such a great experience, No one exempt. Open your heart, you’ll feel it too. Bursting with love You won’t be able to contain.
In life we encounter all sorts of needs. We sometimes look around at others And wonder how or why they prosper. My main aim in life is to talk And observe others far and near. This is how I learn from them So as to get a better understanding on life. When I sum up my final thought On why others prosper I notice it’s because they sow Good seeds and reap a Good harvest. When in need of love They sow love. When in need of peace They sow peace. When in need of kindness They sow kindness. When in need of joy They sow joy. They, in my view are investors. They invest in others And later receive a rich harvest. They become what they desire to possess.
I woke up this morning in the right frame of mind. I did my devotions, headed on out to the front room to settle for a bit and then fix myself a banana smoothie. I had couple things on my mind: touch base you with you on WordPress, read a little news, listen to a video on affirmations………. the norm. What I found myself doing in stead, was opening a notification. I watched it and was brought to tears. My heart is broken. On this short video was a lady cop sharing her recent experience with one of America’s favorite fast food restaurants. I listened intently because my heart is for peace, my heart is for the well being of our nation, my heart is for individuals and families no matter the color, race, creed, ethnicity or culture. None of that really matters. What really matters is that we are all children of one God, the creator of the world. He created us in His image and likeness. We we’re created in His nature, our DNA is comparable to His. We all share the same blood color. When the sun shines, it’s for us all, when it rains and were out and about, we get wet. I’m torn because I look up to law and order. This is what keeps a nation safe for all. Law enforcement is an essential part of our existence. There’s so much I could say but I’ll stay focused. They are people!!!! They have families just like everyone else. They have feelings, they hurt as anyone would (good cop, bad cop) (good people, bad people). There is justice and the one who holds the balance of justice in His hands is God Almighty……………. Lets remember who we are today and who’s we are. We are children of the Most High God. His DNA runs through our veins. We can’t undo history but we can move forward with thoughts of our future generation. We should leave a positive legacy for them to take up and keep moving forward. I didn’t go into details as to what happened to her but do know she was not physically hurt. I leave with these words today………….
Everyday I look up to the sky, Amazingly I see an outstretched blue canopy. Gliding so beautifully with wings so wide. Lovingly I stretch my arms Embracing the wind as I soar. Such grace and joy I felt.
We ought to love others as we love ourselves. Even when we feel otherwise. We may feel a certain person may not deserve our love because they’ve hurt us at some point.
When we think about what Jesus did on the cross we find strength to move forward in love.
Taking this big step is very liberating. It is used as a launching pad to take us deeper in our walk with God. When we do so it releases our hearts to forgive.
Jesus said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”. This was truly a selfless act and we have the ability to do the same. To love enough to forgive others is a gift we give not only to the offender but also to ourselves.
My dream was finally becoming a reality Without having to plan it. The perfect opportunity was present. I looked up and opened my arms. It was raining hard. A dream come true. My hair was perfect. Dressed for an outing. Crossed body purse and all. It rained as if there was no tomorrow. Such a joy, a moment filled with peace. A needed refresher to my soul. I walked a mile and back. No need to rush. This was my moment to smell the roses. This was a personal moment between me and God. I envisioned He was there with me. It was a wonderful time to let go Of any cumbersome thing. That day I felt as an eagle soaring high. Breaking through what holds the mind takes courage. What an exhilarating feeling it was? I promise myself this would not be my last. Jeanette Telusma
As a mother I can’t say this day went unnoticed. My husband and children blessed my day in such a profound way. They are all such blessings and I thank God for them.
Happy mothers day to all mothers. A happy day to all my other friends. It is always great to visit each and everyone of your blogs. May this day, May 11th 2014 be an amazing one for you and yours. God said He will never leave you nor forsake you. No matter what He is always there watching and guiding you every step of the way.
God is an awesome God and I’m very grateful for all that He’s done and will continue to do. Had it not been for His grace and mercy where would I be. I would love to share to the world how Great God is.
