A while ago.
I saw myself dancing
In a large open space with
Blue skies above.
All dressed in white.
I heard such beautiful sounds.
With such grace and happiness
I kept dancing.
As if before my King.
All in a vision.

Thankful
Almighty Creator,
I am forever indebted to You.
I am because You are.
Apart from You there is no existence.
No words or acts of gratitude could ever
Repay You for all You’ve done.
The very breath that I take is because of You.
How could I not take time out to express my gratitude.
I take this time to dedicate my thanks
To You, Almighty Creator.
Thanks for granting direction in my life.
Thanks for giving my life meaning.
Thanks for Your fortress of protection.
Thanks for my identity that lies in You.
Thanks for being a light unto feet.
Thanks for the Wonderful Shepherd that You are.
Thanks for being my Abba Father.
One I could always call on.
My heart is filled with reasons to thank you.
But yet, a million reasons could never compare
To all You’ve done, is doing, and will do.
Although this is true, I still take this time
To Thank You with all my heart.

God says, “I am Perpetually With You “
Amazed
I am amazed at how we could all
Look up at the open skies and see
Something different from each other.
In response to, ‘What do you see? ‘
No answer given would be wrong.
Perception is a way of understanding,
Or interpreting something.
It is a mental impression.
With this said, we ought
To see and accept each other
In spite of our differences.
You Say Potato, I Say Patato
You Say Tomato, I say Tamato
Neither way is wrong.
I’m amazed and I welcome
The experience of another’s mind.
I’m amazed how we view
The color purple
And yet refer to it differently.
God is truly a God of diversity.
I am in awe of His magnificence.
Amazed…
God of Diversity
God created the sun, moon, and stars.
He created the universe and all that’s in it.
When He created man, he thought of woman.
Humanity He created in splendid wonder.
He also created the rainbow with its vibrant colors.
When He spoke Words, they became tangible.
When He thought of sounds, He created music.
We would never be able to phantom the Magnificence
of Our Creator.
He is truly a God of Diversity.
How are we able to go on and not see
the true intent of the Almighty.
He is a God of Oneness.
When I think about God’s Divinity and Diversity
I can’t help but look up and recognize…

At the wee hours of the night
While in deep slumber,
The mind, heart, and emotion meets.
They meet to construct a…
Dream…
One that would elevate the dreamer.
Their partnership is ideal,
For they know what’s needed.
Dreams…
They know exactly what would cause
all walls of defense to fall.
Most times dreams come to bring answers.
Sometimes they bring hope to defeat despair.
Dreams…
Wake up dormant aspirations.
They know the dreamer better
Than the dreamer knows him or herself.
It’s amazing how one dream could be
All it takes for great determination
To reveal itself.
Dreams…
Come as a tool to help move the unmovable
Or one reluctant to move.
Dreams…
Could come from any filter
So moving with some discretion is imperative.
Praying about it and feeling God’s peace
Is permission to move forward.
Determining its purpose is vital.
Knowing and understanding its impact
Comes with analyzing the whole picture.
Dreams…
Are the blueprint of what
Must be worked on and become a reality.
Dreams are one of many ways God speaks to us.
